How to read the result
Grading has several possible outcomes. Expected profit weighs them: chance of a 10 × what a 10 nets you, plus chance of a 9 × what a 9 nets you, plus the rest × what a lower grade nets you, minus everything you paid (card, grading fee, shipping). Every sale price is taken net of selling fees.
Two thresholds help you decide: the minimum 10 price (below it, even a 10 loses money) and the minimum chance of a 10 (below it, grading loses money on average). Unless your card's centering and corners are near perfect, be conservative about the chance of a 10.
What the Raw/Loose tab does for you

How much does PSA grading cost in 2026?
Since February 10, 2026, PSA charges $24.99 per card for Value Bulk, $32.99 for Value, $49.99 for Value Plus, $64.99 for Value Max and $79.99 for Regular, before shipping and insurance. Check PSA's price list before shipping; it changes several times a year.
What about CGC?
CGC Cards lists $17 per card for Bulk (25-card minimum, estimated 150-day turnaround), $20 for Economy, $55 for Standard and $100 for Express.
How do I estimate my chance of a 10?
There is no universal number. The share of 10s in PSA's population report gives a rough idea for a given card, but submitted cards are already pre-screened by their owners. Check centering, corners, edges and surface, and run the math with a conservative assumption.
Why include selling fees?
Because a PSA 10 listed at $200 doesn't put $200 in your pocket. On eBay, a seller without a store pays 13.25% on trading cards up to $7,500, plus $0.40 per order over $10. The calculator takes those fees off every sale price.
