Terms of use

These terms govern the use of kardzapp.com and the Kardz app (the "Service"), published by being updated (see the legal notice). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them. Paid subscriptions are also governed by the terms of sale. The French version of these terms prevails.

1. The Service

Kardz helps you track trading card prices (raw and graded) and spot buy-and-resell opportunities: public listings and sales (especially on eBay), reference prices, margin calculations after fees, alerts, collection tracking. Part of the Service is free; the Filons, Raw/Loose (details) and Crossover modules are paid.

2. Account

Creating an account is free. You must provide a valid e-mail address and keep your password confidential; any action taken from your account is deemed to be yours. You can delete your account at any time from the My account page, or by writing to contact@kardzapp.com. The Service is intended for people aged 15 or over; a minor needs a parent's or guardian's consent to take out a paid subscription.

3. Nature of the information

Prices, reference values, margins and probabilities are calculated automatically from public data and fee assumptions. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong (poorly described listing, misidentified card, fees changed by a third party). They are neither investment advice nor a guarantee of resale. Always check the listing, the card's condition and the actual fees before buying: your buying and selling decisions are your sole responsibility.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not: extract or resell data from the Service by automated means (bots, scraping); circumvent technical limits, quotas or the locking of paid modules; share a paid account; disrupt the Service or access other people's accounts; use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, its code, text, calculations and design are protected. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for as long as you have an account. Third-party trademarks and images remain their owners' property.

6. Third-party links and sites

The Service links to third-party sites (eBay, grading companies…). Kardz is not a party to transactions made on those sites and does not guarantee their products or sellers. Some eBay links are affiliate links (see the legal notice).

7. Availability and liability

Kardz aims to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, especially during maintenance or when data sources are down. To the extent permitted by law, Kardz is not liable for losses resulting from a buying or selling decision based on the information shown. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Suspension

In the event of a serious breach of these terms (especially the prohibited uses), Kardz may suspend or close the account concerned, after informing you where possible.

10. Changes

These terms may change; the version in force is the one published on this page. You will be told in the Service about any significant change.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. In the event of a dispute, please contact contact@kardzapp.com first; you may then use the consumer mediator listed in the terms of sale free of charge.
